Educational Background
Dr. Turk studied and trained for 14 years before opening his Manhattan and Long Island, NY, practices.
Undergraduate
Dr. Jon Turk received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College. Despite being on the pre-med track, Dr. Turk majored in English literature.
Medical School
After his undergraduate studies, Dr. Turk attended medical school at SUNY-Downstate Medical College. He graduated with honors and was elected as the Clarence Dennis Surgical Scholar.
Residency
After medical school, Dr. Turk completed his residency in otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
Fellowship
He rounded out his studies and training with a fellowship in craniomaxillofacial surgery at the prestigious University Hospital of Bern in Switzerland.
